“When I was working on this piece, I was trying to hold onto the feelings from a laid-back day on the lake. I remember watching the sunlight dance on the water and feeling the rhythm of the gentle waves as the sun began to set. My goal was keep the painting as real and soothing as the warm sun and the calm water were to me.”

This is an original oil painting on gallery wrapped canvas. It was created using many thin layers of oil paint, giving the piece great depth and luminosity.

The sides of the canvas are painted as an extension of the painting. The painting will be varnished with a UV protective coating prior to shipping. This painting will arrive ready to hang.

Shipping original works to addresses in the United States is included in the purchase price. Each painting is carefully packed and shipped from Laura’s studio in the Bay Area. You can expect the pieces in this collection to ship within 5-7 business days of the purchase date.
