A Custom Painting for “Some Like It Pop”

I’m thrilled to share that my work was recently featured in Modern Luxury Magazine as part of Grace Blu Interior Design’s vibrant “Some Like It Pop” residence in San Diego.

This project was especially meaningful because the painting was commissioned specifically for this home—a 10,000-square-foot space designed to celebrate bold color, artful energy, and modern California living. The Grace Blu team envisioned a statement piece that would bring a sense of calm movement amid the home’s playful, high-contrast palette, and I created a painting that captures just that balance—a moment of reflection within a world of motion.

Featured photography by Douglas Friedman captures the piece perfectly in situ—its fluid layers of refracted light echoing the rhythm and joy of the home around it.
